Trading Terms and Conditions

Below are the terms and conditions for the product designed and supplied by Nene. D. Please read through them carefully before placing and order. Placing an order confirms acceptance of these trading conditions and terms of business. The following conditions apply to and are therefore incorporated in all contracts for the supply of services and materials.

Copyright

The copyright of all designs, drawings, rough layouts, sketches, pictures and finished art work are considered the property of Nene. D. Copies made, reprinted, and electronically stored for the purpose of reproducing the image are strictly prohibited unless prior permission is asked in writing and due consent is given. Nene. D will not accept any liability for any reproduction product in any format.

Confidentiality

All ideas, proposals, discussions, conversations, meetings, presentations, correspondence, telephone calls, faxes, emails, visuals and all other communications are deemed to be private and ‘in confidence’ and will not be passed on to third parties unless specifically requested by the client by written consent.

Delivery

All deliveries will be carried out by Parcel Force or a similar respectable delivery service. All parcels will require a signature as proof of delivery. Nene. D is not responsible for the delivery time therefore no liability can be held against Nene. D for delayed delivery. Nene. D accepts no responsibility for garments that have left our property/studios.

Ordering

Production time is 12 weeks, we recommend leaving 2-3 weeks between your delivery date and the event date. If you need a delivery date sooner than 12 weeks, it will be considered a priority order. Priority orders are charged at an additional cost. Accessories can be delivered within 4 weeks. Please contact Nene. D for pricings.

Measurements – Garments are made to measurements supplied by the client. It is the clients’ responsibility to insure that all measurements are accurate before confirming the order. Nene. D cannot accept responsibility once the measurements have been confirmed.

Custom Patterns – Most of the patterns can be customized to create your perfect outfit. Minor and major changes will be considered, pricing is on a quotation basis. Custom orders are non returnable. Any changes to original designs or patterns are at the client’s personal responsibility.

Fabrics – Nene. D garments are made from a range of silk fabrics. As a natural fibre there may be a certain level of irregularities or variations in shade, all of which are understandable characteristics of silk. Clients must note that silk requires special cleaning care. Each garment is handmade in the United Kingdom. Clients should note fabrics are not manufactured by Nene. D therefore we have no control over suppliers, change or discontinuation of fabric. Nene. D will however make every effort to find an acceptable alternative if this situation should occur.

Colours – Every effort is made to accurately depict the actual colour of the swatch, Nene. D can not guarantee the exact match of colours as some dye lots can vary. Nene. D also takes no responsibility for fabric change or discontinuation of fabrics.

Alterations

Nene. D garments are made to measure, i.e. to the measurements supplied by the client. Nene. D takes no responsibility for any change in size to the wearer of the garment or any alterations needed due to incorrect measurements or fitting by the client. Nene. D offers an alteration service. Alterations take 2 weeks from the date that the garment has been returned to and received by Nene D. Work and delivery is payable by client.

Payment

50% of the full amount must be paid on the ordering of a garment. This deposit cost is non refundable after the initial 24 hour cancellation period. Orders will start on receivership of the money. The additional remaining 50% of payment needs to be received by the dispatch date of the garment. Notification will be given a minimum of 1 week prior to dispatch. Garments will not be dispatched until full payment has been received. Prices are subject to amendments and payment method is by PayPal or by Cheque made payable to Nene. D.

Returns

Products that are produced/manufactured by Nene. D are custom made and are not returnable. Orders can be cancelled within 24 hours of the order or if they have not been cut. Once the order is in production it cannot be cancelled or returned.
